You'll have to deal with problems and "undesirables" that will cause major shakedowns in your empire. Angry tenants, bar ghosts, hoodlums, rival gangs and the police are just some of the potential distractions that could slow your progress. You'll also have to grease the right palms and bribe the police when necessary, as having friends in high places can be a key to victory.
Soon enough, you'll have to make your presence known and make a few "hits" on certain people that aren't playing your game. You have to show that your group of "thugs" and gangsters isn't going to be trifled with in any way. Bombings, gang attacks and setting fires are just some of the evil tactics you can use to stop the opposition from gaining any headway.
Some cities and territories will be easier to conquer than others. You will have to realize this fact as you slowly move up in the ranks of evil empires. While you may start out in the comatose Hickstown and enjoy an easy ride, you'll soon be competing with the big boys in Dead Dog's Ditch or the bright lights of Capital City. Those places are where the real action and challenge await you.
Only with the right resources, connections and street smarts will you succeed in this dog-eat-dog underworld. How does this sound for a plot: You, as a ahem business partner of the Godfather, are given a city to create your empire, build up your own businesses, and generally wreak havoc with the city's police force.

I saw this thug pushing a wheelbarrow down a pier, when he got to the end he dumped the wheelbarrow containing me and a tub of cement over into the water. The very next scene is my character at the bottom of the sea with about 10 other tubs of cement and dead guys. When it comes to real-time strategy games the only thing I worry about pertaining to the audio is whether or not it is distracting.
So, all in all the audio works very well throughout the entire game. Studio 3 should be praised for the manual because it covers everything you need to know but does it quickly. The manual also follows the tutorial mission making it very easy to get into the game.
